Emily Alston-Follansbee (she/her) wrote her first poem, entitled “Love,” on a tiny piece of paper in 1972; poetry has always felt like music for her. She was a teacher for many years and she raised two children who became lovely adults. In 2020 Emily became ill with a neurological disorder and she has been disabled since then. She lives in Maynard, Massachusetts with her cheery husband and two goofy dogs. Her writing can be found - or is forthcoming in - Grand Journal, Amethyst Review, Pangyrus, Rogue Agent, The Words Faire and NOVUS Literary Arts Journal, among others.
Michael J. Carter is a poet and clinical social worker. A graduate of Sarah Lawrence College he holds an MFA from Vermont College and an MSW from Smith. Poems of his have appeared in such journals as Boulevard, Ploughshares, MomEgg Review, Western Humanities Review, Gyroscope, among many others. He spends his time walking his hounds and knitting.
V Corbet is a writer and artist based in the PNW, USA. They hold an MS in Narrative Medicine from USC and a BA in Creative Writing from UC Denver. Melissa Feuerstein is a writer and artist whose work has appeared or is forthcoming in Maudlin House, Unbroken, BULL, Blood + Honey, and other journals. She writes poetry, prose, and hybrid forms about memory, place, estrangement, desire, decay, and the weirdness of ordinary life. She lives in Tucson, Arizona.
Satoshi Iwai was born and lives in Kanagawa, Japan. He writes poems in English and in Japanese. His English work has appeared in Gone Lawn, Newfound, Into the Void, Phantom Drift, Outlook Springs, and elsewhere.
Dawn Levitt is a two-time heart transplant recipient who writes at the intersection of storytelling and healing. She lives near Detroit, Michigan with her husband and two misfit rescue dogs. Her debut chapbook was a finalist in the Jessie Bryce Niles prize, and her poem “Reborn Broken” won first place in the Williams Poems of Disability, Disease, and Healing Award. Ailin Sha is a poet based in Boston, Massachusetts. She studies English at Harvard College and currently serves a two-year term as the Boston Youth Poet Laureate.
